John Smith
VP, Content & Project Management

John L. Smith currently serves as the Vice President North America Field, Strategic Solutions for Crown Financial Ministries.

In this role, John focuses on identifying, implementing and evaluating solutions which leverage the resources of Crown for high impact kingdom results. John works closely with the Global Marketplace Development team, who is responsible for the design, development, and distribution of all Crown teaching materials for the church and retail markets, as well as the coordination of the Exponential pastor’s events. John and his team work closely with the Global Broadcasting, Global Advancement, and Global Communications teams.

During his twenty-year sales and marketing career, John worked his way up through the ranks of one of the nation's largest financial services companies, only to realize his desire to serve in a place where the marketplace and ministry intersect. Before joining Crown in January 2002, John’s professional journey included working for such organizations as GE Capital, Larry Burkett’s Christian Financial Concepts, and Dr. John C. Maxwell’s INJOY Group.

John holds a BA in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, where he also minored in Human Resource Management. He continues to live in Georgia with his wife, Ginna, and their three children.
