1. Who is Crown Financial Ministries?
Crown Financial Ministries is the merged organization of Christian Financial Concepts (founded by Larry Burkett in 1976) and Crown Ministries (founded by Howard Dayton in 1985). Read the history of Crown and its Vision and Mission statements.

2. What does Crown do?
Crown is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that teaches God’s biblical principles of finances to people around the world. We teach through our award-winning radio programs, church teaching solutions, newsletter, and products, including workbooks and software.

3. Where is Crown located?
Our home office is located in northeast Georgia, but we have Crown staff located all around the US and in many countries internationally.

4. How can Crown help me with my finances?
We have trained volunteers who can help you set up a budget and get your finances in order. We offer materials for small groups and individual Bible studies. We also have materials on many other areas of finances. We do not offer investing advice, nor do we have trained counselors who can give investing or financial planning advice.

5. Does Crown give financial assistance?
We receive many requests for financial support from organizations and individuals. Since this ministry is supported primarily by outside donations that are sent to us for the purpose of teaching biblical principles of money management, we are not free to redirect those funds. We are sensitive to the work you are doing, but we are required to follow certain financial guidelines and to be accountable to those who support the work of this ministry.

6. How does Crown operate?
Crown Financial Ministries operates on a cash basis (i.e., it does not borrow money.) Crown believes that one of the ways God can give direction is through the provision (or withholding) of funds. 7. Is Crown affiliated with any religious denomination?

8. Is Crown a member of any accountability organization?
Crown is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and therefore conforms to their standards (www.ecfa.org). 9. Who runs Crown Financial Ministries?
Crown is governed by a Board of Directors with a background in finances and business. Each one feels called to this ministry and believes in Crown’s goal of teaching God’s financial principles to people around the world. Click here to see the list of our Board Members.

10. Does Howard Dayton receive a salary from Crown?
Howard Dayton accepts no salary for his work at Crown Financial Ministries. Instead, he receives royalties paid by publishers when they sell books he has written. Howard takes no royalties on his books sold by the ministry; all revenue from them remains in the ministry. Howard Dayton believes this is God's ministry, not his. Howard's name is not on our buildings; nor does any ministry property belong to him personally. Everything is owned by the ministry, Crown Financial Ministries, Inc.
