1. Federally funded clinics.  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has a database of free clinics in your area.  You don’t need health insurance at these clinics and you can get free immunizations, checkups, and prescription drugs.
   
   
2. Medical colleges.  America’s teaching med schools offer wellness programs, preventive and primary care medicine and emergency care.  These programs are aimed at working families that can’t afford health insurance.
   
   
3. Drug Manufacturer programs at freemedicineprogram.org and rxassist.org. Many of the nation’s top pharmaceutical companies provide free or reduced price medicine.  These patient assistance programs help those who need but can’t afford prescription drugs.
