Crazy Money Day – Giving Because of His Gift

It’s Good Friday, a day to remember God’s gift to us.

“God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” Do our lives reflect gratitude for that gift? Are we making sacrifices so we can give generously to others?

God supplies a surplus of wealth to Christians for one reason: to provide for the needs of others. In 2 Corinthians 9:11, the Apostle Paul wrote: “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

Giving is the foundation for a life of unselfishness.  God provides for us so we will supply for His work. What better time than now to be generous on every occasion?
