Learn From Your Mistakes

Are your finances a hot mess of mistakes?

Maybe Biblical financial principles are new to you. Or maybe you’ve simply ignored them. Did you know that the Bible has over 2,300 verses about money? If your finances are a hot mess – or you haven’t trusted God with your finances – would you humble yourself, confess that today and change your mind? Consider the words of Psalm 1:

“Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law, he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf shall also not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.”

Did you catch that? Whatever he does shall prosper! Bear in mind that Christians are not promised material blessings, but God did give us instructions to live by that things might go well with us. Financial pain can shock us out of apathy. It’s easy to procrastinate and delude ourselves into believing things will get better, but we need to learn from our mistakes. We’re living in a time of economic uncertainty. I want you to be prepared for whatever the future holds so you can prosper in the midst of possible chaos. Seek the wisdom of the Lord and wise counselors. Reject that of the ungodly, the sinner, and the scornful. Check out Crown’s online tools and coaches. We want to encourage you in your financial journey.
