Savings Day – Faithful With Little
It’s Build Your Savings Day!
My wife challenged one son to be more careful with his money. She bought him a notebook and told him to divide it into three sections: income, spending, and sacrifices. He records all income and spending, and the things he wanted to buy, but didn’t. Things like a Chick-fil-A sandwich or a pair of shoes.
Exercising self-control is important and this visual reminder got his attention. In Luke 16:10, Jesus said: “He who is faithful in very little things is faithful also in much.” So, get a notebook and record your income, spending, and sacrifices. Learn to be faithful – even with little, so you can thrive in unexpected times.
