Savings Day – Just Start

‘Tis the season to start saving!

Ann and I knew we needed to thin out paperwork and bins of stuff, but we couldn’t get motivated to start until a subcontractor said that we needed to move everything out of a room to make improvements. We pulled bin after bin out of two large closets. It took a week but we did it and then we cleaned out other parts of the house. We burned paperwork, threw stuff away, and made donations.

The hardest part of saving is just starting. Take it a day at a time while diligently tracking your spending. God’s financial principles are for our good! So get the family on board and have fun! Aim to save a little more each successive month. Simply start today and a happy new year will be ahead.
