Ryan Paul

Ryan serves as the Sr. Creative Director for Crown, overseeing brand development, media production, and communications. With a bachelor’s degree in Film and Media Production, he has enjoyed over 20 years in the creative industry, working in a range of recording studios, media production houses, and advertising agencies.

Born and raised in South Africa, Ryan moved back and forth between Durban, Johannesburg, and Cape Town. He met members of the Crown team in Zimbabwe in 2017 and began helping with some media needs. In June 2020, he and his family relocated to Knoxville, TN, to join the Crown team full-time. While they miss friends and family, they love their new city and the incredible communities they’re surrounded by.

Ryan, his wife, Shannon, and their two kids, Madi and Cody, attend Northstar Church in Knoxville, where Ryan leads worship a couple of times a month. On weekends, you can find him and the family either on the river or hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains.
