It’s Crazy Money Day!

Randy dropped out of college and took a job with an aircraft repair company earning $20 an hour. He worked hard and saved money to start his own business. In 2020, he took $2,500 from savings to purchase a trailer and supplies to begin detailing cars. 2 years later, he purchased a van for $8,000 along with some upgraded cleaning equipment. He earned enough to leave his repair job and focus fully on car detailing. Randy Roblero is hard at work by 7:30 a.m. six days a week. He works out of his van, servicing 3 to 4 customers a day. In 2023, he started a YouTube channel sharing videos of his detailing process. Shows like “How to Start a Car Detailing Business with Only $500” and “How I Make $700 in 5 Hours Detailing“. It gained him ad revenue and paid sponsorships. Last year he expected to earn over $77,000. $18,000 of that’s YouTube revenue. Not bad for a 22-year-old!

Paul wrote, “… make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders so that you will not be dependent on anybody.” (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12) Well, Randy had done that. His parents immigrated here from Guatemala and his father encouraged him to achieve great things in America. He hopes to expand his business so that his now-widowed mother doesn’t have to work. His Dad would be so proud.
