Testimony Tuesday – Helped By A Crown Budget Coach

Are you struggling to stay on top of your budget?

So did a couple who contacted a Crown budget coach for help. Listen to their experience. “We now approach money very differently: the way we look at our budget, the way we spend. We knew we needed something or someone to help us get on track. The online mentoring option is perfect for this time in our lives. We held each other accountable and gained a sense of direction and hope. We make decisions more easily and frequently. It feels great to approach this part of our marriage together and to grow in Godly stewardship of all He’s given us.

We found it’s important being consistent and committed to discussing our finances on a weekly basis. We felt controlled by debt and it was a source of stress. The course made us re-evaluate our use of money. Now we’re growing in our understanding of what it means to be good stewards. It became very obvious that a credit card was the primary source of our problem. Previously, we made purchases without much reflection. Now, we’re growing in understanding and working to implement the principles of needs vs wants vs desires.

We’ve established a savings account for emergencies which resulted in greater peace and trust in the Lord. A weekly review of spending has helped us be more open and confident in discussing our use of money. We’re praying a lot more about our finances and trusting the Lord will provide in His own way.” Well, I praise God for this transformation.
