Testimony Tuesday – Budget Coaching Impact

Finances got you down?

If you’re discouraged by the state of your finances, there’s hope. We recently heard from a radio listener whose life, faith, and financial journey were impacted by Crown’s Budget Coaching program. She wrote this:

Being in the circumstances that I find myself, I needed this financial course in a huge way! I’ve gleaned so much – especially from the spiritual aspect of finances. Like, where’s my heart? To whom should I give? Is my family provided for? My coach was perfectly placed in my life and situation by God! What a blessing, a help, and a tremendous teacher she has been! The significant lesson was how God wants me to work, give, save, spend, and invest – and the Bible verses that go along with each of these. A change in my heart was learning what God wants of me. I now understand His economy of how we’re to steward what He’s given us. Everything is His! The videos in the course spoke life back into my heart concerning God’s desire for me to use my gifts that He’s given me, to give Generously, and that it’s all for God’s glory.

Well, I praise God for the progress in her financial and spiritual life and for our compassionate budget coaches. Monday through Friday I try to educate and bring hope to you and other listeners. Becoming a steward takes practice. Proverbs 21:5 says: “Steady plodding brings prosperity; hasty speculation brings poverty.” So, step forward with hope and patience knowing that consistent effort will pay off for you. It’s a promise from the Lord!
