Long Life

God gave us a promise: If we would put into practice the principles He teaches, we would have a long life.

I believe that the illnesses we have are a result of violating many of the dietary rules. And many of the problems we encounter are the result of not living by His Word.

I would say, without hesitation, biblical ethics and long life go together. For instance, when you give your word, you keep it. When you marry, you commit yourself to your spouse for a lifetime. When you have a job to do, you do your absolute best.

God’s Word says, “As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, or if due to strength,eighty years” (Psalm 90:10).
