Staff Saving Tip 5

You know the saying, out of sight, out of mind? Well if you’re trying to save some money, you may want to put some of it out of sight!

It seems like every month there is some sort of surprise or unexpected expense. It is also so easy to just take what I had planned on saving and use it instead to pay for some nice things I have been wanting.

But it’s so important to discipline yourself to save diligently. I suggest you set up an automatic transfer to your savings account from every paycheck. That way, the money is already in your savings account and you won’t be tempted to use it for a surprise expense instead.

It may not be totally out of sight or out of mind, but it will help you develop a habit and a savings fund.
