What does God require of us when it comes to managing our money?

Today, our founder, the late Larry Burkett, speaks about God’s plan for our finances and the essential character quality He expects of us.

As Larry pointed out, discipline is required when it comes to managing money; otherwise, we’ll spend all that we have on ourselves. Discipline is the ability to say “Yes” to what is good and beneficial and “No” to those things that are not beneficial. Let me turn that around another way. Discipline is learning to say no to what I want today so I can say yes to what I need for tomorrow. God requires that stewards have a faithful heart and disciplined hands…this is pleasing to Him and gives us the capacity to be generous.
