Crown CEO Chuck Bentley interviews these two leaders about their personal experiences and perspectives on racism and economic justice, as well as their wisdom for solutions.
About our Guests:
Damian Carson played football for and graduated from the University of Georgia. His career span includes multiple leadership roles in corporate and non-profit settings. Damian effectively collaborates with community stakeholders and financial institutions to strategically implement corporate social responsibility programs throughout Birmingham and the state of Alabama. He is currently the senior trainer and director for Birmingham’s Small Business Development division of Operation HOPE, where he is responsible for training and developing small businesses for business growth and sustainability.
James Stewart recently earned his Master of Public Administration degree at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He has had careers with the United States Postal Service, in the ministry, and in Accounting. He currently serves as City Clerk of the City of Irondale, Alabama and is running for mayor. He has participated in government in many other capacities. James is passionate about teaching biblical stewardship. He and his wife Kimberly have been married for 30 years and have two grown children, Jade and Christian.
