GIF The Cost of Compromise
“Since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.”

The Cost of Compromise
by Larry Burkett
There’s a cost to be paid for every compromise, especially to God’s Word. That price is the loss of peace from God.
Compromise at any level results in further compromise—until finally the conscience is seared and right and wrong are no longer distinguishable.
Sometimes an inner conviction about sin decreases and the sins begin to increase. Why? Because fellowship with God was broken at the earliest stage, and from that point selfishness and self-control took over.
Have you allowed yourself to compromise in any area of your life?
Our greatest advantage is that God will restore anyone who will acknowledge sin and return to His way.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities. . . Who redeems your life from the pit; Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion” (Psalm 103:2-4).
