Crazy Money Day – Bentley vs Used Cars
It’s Crazy Money Day!
I’ve always thought it would be fun to drive a Bentley. The 2020 Continental GT is a redesigned four-passenger luxury coupe starting at $200,000. Cars are typically the second biggest purchase we make. Most people can’t afford to drive new ones, especially when depreciation costs 20-30%. That’s why I buy used.
I look for one-owners with a clean carfax. I want good maintenance records – dealer certified, if possible. I only want a proven low mileage vehicle – under 100,000 miles, and I intend to drive it another 150,000 miles. I’ll skip the Bentley, though. My 2007 4-Runner still serves me well!
