Crazy Money! Stop Stealing

It’s Crazy Money Day!

Do you own Apple AirTags? I purchased them as a way to track the location of my luggage when traveling. My son put one on his cat’s collar to find her should she wander off. A woman in Santa Barbara County got tired of having mail stolen from her post office box. So, she mailed herself a package containing an Apple AirTag. The Bluetooth signal revealed the address of the package. She contacted authorities who not only found the woman’s mail but items they believe were stolen from more than a dozen others. Two people were arrested and booked on various charges. The Sheriff’s Department thanked the woman for her proactive approach and for not confronting the burglars herself.

The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:25 – 28: “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.”

So if you’ve been stealing, stop today. No matter what your situation is, stealing is not the solution. Jesus forgives today just like he did the thief at the cross. Confess it, repent, and then go to work. God can provide for your every need. Begin stewarding your earnings wisely.

Many people steal when they are behind on their bills. If you’re struggling with credit card debt, Christian Credit Counselors will help. They’ll create a debt management plan that will work for you. For more information visit online at crown.org/ccc.
