Generosity Day: Give Investments
Want to be wise with your generosity?
Some neighbors, a few years ahead of us in grand-parenting, told us they’re buying investments for their grandchildren instead of stuff that ends up in the toy box or trash. They want to be more purposeful in their giving. It’s a great opportunity to teach the power of investing to young people. Simply open a brokerage account and buy stock in a company with long-term potential. Imagine if your parents or grandparents had done this for you!
A great proverb to apply to your investing philosophy is: “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with rare and precious treasure.” (Proverbs 24:3-4) So do your research now and you’ll ready before the holidays hit.
