Generous People Are Happy People

Have you ever noticed that generous people are usually happy people? I can’t think of an individual or couple whom I know to be generous who are grumpy. So maybe if you need a little cheering up, you should start with giving!

It’s true, isn’t it! Generous people are happy people.

Proverbs 11:24 says, “One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.”

Giving is SO good for us! When we give, we quit focusing on ourselves and humble our heart. If we give out of obligation we lose the joy that comes with generosity.  

It’s no wonder Scripture says God loves a cheerful giver!
