Giving While Paying Off Debt

“I brought you into this world, kiddo, and I can take you out of it!” Ever heard a parent say that to their kids? Have you been that parent?!

Just like we parents want our kids to recognize our authority, our Heavenly Father wants us to recognize Him as the true owner of all we have. We may want to give generously, but then the credit card bill arrives, our kids need braces, and the “check engine light” comes on again.

Proverbs says, “Honor the Lord from your wealth, and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”

He sees your mounting expenses. But instead of reducing your giving, try cutting expenses in other areas of your life.
