Keep Running The Race!

You’re running a long race.

Each of us is running a race with the same coach and the common end goal. Our forefathers ran it too. We all carry different kinds of financial challenges. The Bible tells about many people who faced incredible amounts of stress and concerns about money. Their examples and the principles they taught help us to reframe our present circumstances. As the Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:18-21, I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.”

We can confront financial difficulties remembering that this is not our home. We’re simply passing through. We’re called to diligently manage what God provides and faithfully serve Him until we finish our race. Therefore, since we’re surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith…” (Hebrews 12:1-2) Faithfully follow His financial principles. You’ll find hope and peace in the midst of your race!
