Overcoming Financial Bondage

Are you suffering from financial bondage?

You may believe that financial bondage is common to everyone. Well, I can assure you, many people live a joyous, victorious life of financial freedom, and you can, too. Although I’ve seen some exceptions, you’re likely to be in financial bondage because of what you believe about money more than any other root cause. The solution is found in Romans 12:2: Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Over time, without even realizing it, many are conformed into, or molded by the culture. You may profess to be a child of God and follow Christ. Yet, your financial habits have subtly fallen in line with what everybody else is doing. That’s why it’s vitally important to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. It’s what you believe that changes your behavior. Applying spiritual truth leads to some very practical results! Your beliefs about money are based on what society has taught you. Changing those to what God says and applying that truth to your financial decisions will significantly impact your behavior, and it’ll remain consistent as long as you stay in His Word and are fed and nurtured by the Holy Spirit. Consider and believe what Psalm 18:30 says, “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.”
