Testimony Tuesday
Have your finances improved by listening to My MoneyLife?
I love hearing about God’s financial principles changing lives. One couple partnered with one of our trained budget coaches and sent the following testimony: “Before Crown, we were in a good spot with our financials but didn’t have a plan for what God wanted us to do with it. We had a lot of questions. Now we have a much clearer plan of how to spend, save, and give as our Lord directs us. We learned that everything belongs to the Lord. We budget to give each month and do so regularly now. It’s not been a big spiritual shift. We just made changes in what we do that we weren’t doing before – and for the better in God’s eyes.”
Isn’t that great? A solid financial plan can help you fulfill your life purpose as you align yourself with Biblical values. Confusion is thwarted when people resolve to make a plan. So ask God for the strength, the patience, and the diligence to follow through with a plan. Hebrews says, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:11)
If you record your spending for 30 days, you’ll see where your money is going. Then you establish a written plan to help you spend less than you earn each and every month. Like the couple who wrote us, you too can make changes that will allow you to give, save, and invest as God directs, and if you feel stuck, our budget coaches are standing by to help you.
