Testimony Tuesday – Crown Used in Adult and Teen Challenge

Crown’s courses are helping many do well! 

Several years ago, Brent, in Louisiana, reached out to us about using our Do Well study in the Adult and Teen Challenge recovery program near him. Since then, he’s faithfully led hundreds of men through the study to learn and apply the truths of biblical stewardship. Here’s a summary of some comments received in a recent evaluation.

“This study gave me hope. I grew spiritually and financially. It helped me understand how to work for God, give for God, and budget my time and money for the Lord. He wants us to be smart with money.”

Another wrote, “I found that our real citizenship is in heaven. I want to live for the Kingdom by being responsible with money and content with what I have. I should be thankful for anything and everything.”

And how about this insight, “I learned how to save money and live for the Lord by meditating on His word and obeying Him. He can accomplish his purposes through mistakes and sins when I acknowledge His way is best for me. I don’t deserve anything, but everything I get is a gift from the Lord.”

Another said, “We should give what He already owns and stay away from debt. I learned why we should save, how to spend money, and how to become debt-free by using a budget.”

Finally, one student had his entire life transformed. “I’ve learned to walk with God, how to value money, and how to value my life with Jesus Christ. I know I can’t worship money and God. So, I’m dropping one – money.”
