Testimony Tuesday – God Shines Light on Coaching Client’s Heart

Do you need a financial coach?

One of our coaching clients became discouraged about her lack of Biblical financial knowledge. She knew she needed to change her spending habits and surrender everything to the Lord, but she was afraid that He’d ask more than she was willing or able to do. She wrote us to share her new perspective: “I’ve learned that stewardship is not about how much money I have. It’s about surrendering, obedience, trust, and giving. Generosity brings richness and contentment while giving glory to God. Stewardship is being responsible in how I use God’s resources to honor Him. It shows that my finances belong to Him and my trust is fully in Him.

This course is a tool to process negative feelings about money. It gives room for confidence with faith that God is in control of my life and economy. I’m in the process of learning how to budget and to be accountable before the Lord and my Crown coaches. Spending habits are an issue of the heart. In the course, God shined light on my heart in my dealing with finances. Fear, sadness, and loneliness drove me to find instant feelings of gratification. God is healing my heart. I’m still in the process of learning Godly stewardship and gaining control of my spending, but God has been faithful and generous through the course, reminding me that He is my Provider. I can trust in Him financially, with my home, my car, work, food, and even more. I’ve also learned that good management of His daily provision is honoring to Him!”
