Testimony Tuesday – Here’s Life Africa

Andy Blakesley in Dallas, TX is a dear friend of mine.

Andy heads up Here’s Life Africa, a ministry whose mission is to fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism and discipleship. Their goal is to reach the unreached and under-reached in the 20 poorest countries of the world. Andy’s partnership with Crown has profoundly impacted many, many people. They have teams throughout villages in 3 countries and are expanding into South Sudan. Over the course of 1 month, teams cover 200 villages for 3 nights and 4 days. The first night, they show the Jesus Film. On the 2nd and 3rd nights, they show Crown’s God Provides film series. Hundreds of thousands have professed faith in Christ upon watching them. Andy reports that our God Provides film series has been a bridge between evangelism and discipleship. They boost growth in new converts and often lead others to accept Christ as Savior.

In 2023, they hosted a pilot project in Tanzania. 12 influential leaders with tremendous impact in the nation gathered for training in the Crown African Money Map. They loved what they learned, and they look forward to going deeper and wider into Tanzania with its use. The potential transformation in the lives of the poor could be enormous! Andy dreams of a million Tanzanians going through the Crown African Money Map. He believes everyone should have the opportunity to learn that God is their Provider. He hopes they become good stewards and use money and resources to grow closer to Christ.
